As a Cultural Care representative, I am a resource for families who are considering hosting an au pair. I am an advocate for this unique form of childcare that provides families with a great deal of flexibility at an affordable price, while also providing a valuable cultural exchange experience for both host families and au pairs. Perhaps you are comparing au pairs to daycares or nannies, or looking for help with school-aged children before and after school. I can help you determine if au pair childcare is the right childcare solution for you.
My name is Jo Anna but friends call me Jojo. I have been a Local Childcare Consultant for several years. It’s true what they say “When you love what you do, you’ll never work a day in your life”. I spend most of my days enjoying my family and my extensive network of host families and au pairs. I like to live vicariously through my au pairs and I enjoy helping host families make the most of their program. Au pairs are loving, affordable, full time, live-in childcare providers. Busy Host families relax while their au pair works a flexible schedule, up to 45 hours per week. The cultural exchange experience in the program is a unique benefit too.
Prior to launching my consulting business, I never had a passport and I worked 12 hour days, often 7 days per week. I still I work that hard, but now I have a passport, I travel and I am having fun! I love networking, building relationships, connecting people and providing excellent childcare solutions.
If you or someone you know is interested in hosting an au pair, please reach out to me. If you would like to learn more about becoming a Local Childcare Consultant, I will be happy to share my experience with you. Thanks for learning more about me. I look forward to learning more about you!
